Kurt is from KY. Grew up in the small town of Nicholasville, KY. In 2005 went on a scholarship to Northern KY university to play tennis. Kurt grew up constantly playing music in bands with his cousins since the age of 10. Kurt used to write and film short skits on his parents camera starting at a very young age with close friend Tory Stanton, who is now a Director, living in Berkley, CA. Around 2006, while on summer break from NKU, Kurt was asked to do an indie movie. Not only did he play in the movie, but worked on the sound track as well. This small time project opened up his eyes to what he needed to do. In the summer of 07 Kurt signed with a manager out of Cincinnati, who sent him to LA to meet with agents.  In the fall of 07 Kurt left NKU, packed his guitar, clothes and drove out to LA with no idea what was in store. Immediately signing with HRI on arrival he went out a lot and made his way around town. Now Kurt is signed with Hollywood Select Talent. All the while music has really taken off for Kurt. He's opened main stage at the House of Blues already and is talking with several producers, and working on an album. Myspace.com/wisdomishere
