Director

Roberto Ferreira has a large background in the arts and entertainment. As a young man in Brazil, he went from professional dancer, actor and singer to directing movies and plays. By being part of the feature movie “The Emerald Forest” Roberto says: “By watching John Boorman very closely and all the production that surrounded him, very early I knew what I had to do in life: tell stories”.

Moving to the United States 12 years ago, he ended up in Los Angeles in 2006 where he launched his on Web Design Company, creating web commercials, web episodes for a versatile client base.

In 2009 Roberto enrolled on the UCLA Certificate Program of Directing where he is giving focus to all the creative energy he carries with him.

Most recently, Roberto’s first short film, “A Different Kind of Humor” which he wrote, co-produced and directed is ready for the film festival circuit. “Continuity” Roberto’s second movie as a director is also ready and “Wesley”, Roberto’s new project for television is in Post Production.

Besides Roberto’s passion for Cinema, his background in dance and voice, as well as his hobbies of painting and photography gives him a unique and well-rounded aesthetic for his artistic interpretation of the human condition.
